FAQ

Questions, answered.

When does the app launch?

We're putting the finishing touches on the app now. Join the waitlist and you'll be the first to know when it's live on the App Store and Google Play.

Who can join?

Players aged 13 and over, and coaching staff such as head coaches, assistants and goalkeeper coaches. Players under 18 need a parent or guardian's consent.

Why do you need my national ID?

So clubs can trust every profile. The Hope team checks your ID by hand before your account goes live. It's never shown on your profile, and the scans are deleted once the review is done.

Can clubs message me in the app?

No. There's no chat. When a club is interested, it reveals your contact details, you get notified, and the club reaches out to you directly.

How do clubs join?

The Hope team sets each club up with its own space and logins for its owner, scouts and staff. Register your club's interest through the waitlist and we'll be in touch.

Is my profile public?

Verified members and clubs see your full profile. If you're 18 or over, a football-only page (name, photo, positions and career, never your contact details) is also public on hopenextgen.com, and you can turn it off at any time. Players under 18 are never shown on the public web.
