Privacy policy.
This policy explains what personal data Hope Next Generation collects through hopenextgen.com and its pages, why, and the choices you have. The HopeNextGen app will publish its full policy here before it launches.
Who we are
Hope Next Generation runs hopenextgen.com, the club dashboards at <club>.hopenextgen.com and the HopeNextGen app. For anything about your data, email privacy@hopenextgen.com.
The waitlist
When you join the waitlist we store your email address, the role you picked (player, coach or club), the language of the page and the time you signed up.
We use it only to tell you about HopeNextGen, for example when the app launches. We don't sell it or share it for anyone else's marketing.
We keep your signup until you ask us to remove it, and we delete the waitlist once it's no longer needed after launch.
Security check
The waitlist form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a person, not a bot, is sending it. To do that, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address and browser details. We don't receive that information, only the result of the check.
Public player pages
Approved players aged 18 or over get a public football profile on hopenextgen.com unless they turn it off. It shows their name, photo, birth year, positions, preferred foot, height, career and the highlights they chose to make public.
It never shows contact details, city, CV, ID documents or the exact birth date. Profiles of players under 18 are never public.
Cookies
The public website doesn't use advertising or analytics cookies. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies. The club dashboards and the admin dashboard use sign-in cookies to keep you signed in.
Who processes data for us
Supabase hosts our database in the European Union (Ireland). Cloudflare runs the website and its security. Cloudinary stores and delivers images. Each one processes data only to provide its service to us.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it or delete it, including removing yourself from the waitlist. Email privacy@hopenextgen.com and we'll reply as soon as we can. These rights follow Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 151 of 2020).
Children
The app is for players aged 13 and over. Players under 18 need a parent or guardian's consent, clubs see the guardian's contact rather than the child's, and their profiles are never shown on the public web.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
